We have custom designed, using high accuracy 3D scans, milimeter perfect adaptor ring and duct adaptor kit for retro-fitting Audi A3 Vents (8P) into your MK3 Caddy (2004-2015). Unlike other kits out there, ours also include a precision fit adaptor ring to ensure the duct has a factory-like fit in the dash, stopping it from rotating / falling in or out of the hole.
The kit includes:
- 4x Vent Adaptor Rings (Matte Black) - These rings clip into place on the Caddy Dash and let the A3 vent clip straight into the hole, for a snug and perfectly flush fit, hold the vent in tight and prevent any rotation.
- 4x Duct Adaptors (Matte Black) - These simply slide onto the rear of the vent and connect the existing duct position to the vent, diverting the airflow and ensuring there is no air leakage
The kit does NOT include the A3 vents, you will have to purchase these seperately yourself.
Instructions to fit the vent and adaptor kit:
- Remove stock vents (plenty of youtube videos on this)
- Fit the adaptor ring onto the vent itself
- Fit the duct adpator to the rear of the vent so that the duct is pointing 'up' at the same side as the gear mechanisim on the vent
- Insert the vent into the dash, line up the gears on the vent so they are facing upward. Slide in and pay attention to the adaptor ring, make sure it is aligned right and clicks evenly into the dash.
- Push evenly into the adaptor ring until it is flush with the dash. It should click into place.
The adaptor kit is made from high quality carbon infused plastic using top of the range 3D printers. The material gives a high quality matte finish and is also resistant to temperatures up to at least 85C ensuring that it does not deform under the heat of the vents. It is also robust enough to have multiple uses, vents can be removed and refitted without damaging the adaptor ring.
